QV Research believes that online privacy is important to the success of the Internet and electronic commerce in general, and thus is strongly committed to each visitor's right to privacy. The following statement sets forth QV Research' privacy policy for its Web site located at http://www.qvresearch.com and fully explains its information gathering and handling practices. QV Research' privacy policy is consistent with the standards established by the Online Privacy Alliance.

If you, as a visitor, choose to register or submit identifying information, you are consenting to QV Research' use of such data in accordance with its privacy policy as described in this statement. Collection and Use of Information

In some areas of the site, cookies are used to collect information about viewers browsing habits in order to customize services. Cookies are small text files stored in a user's browser and are not used to track the identity of or to store personal data about individual users. QV Research receives very little personal information from visitors to our Web site and only for a limited set of purposes. It is possible for a visitor to send emails through the site, and such messages will contain the user's name and email address, as well as additional information that the user may wish to include in his or her messages. 

QV Research limits the information collected from visitors to only the minimum information required to fulfill a visitor's request or order. Where non-mandatory data is sought, the visitor will be notified that such information is not a necessity at the time of collection of such data. Although most publications that are available to visitors through our Web site are provided by downloading, visitors may have the option to purchase QV Research publications either online, by calling toll-free phone numbers, or by faxing order forms. In the event that a visitor wishes to purchase a publication, QV Research will collect the order information that may include credit card information in order to facilitate payment for and shipment of the publication. QV Research will not use personal data to facilitate unsolicited marketing activities.

We might receive information about you from other sources, such as our clients, and add it to the information already in our QV Research database.  We also sometimes receive updated address information from our clients and other sources so that we can correct our records and deliver your next communications more easily.

Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

Visitors are not required to register in order to gain access to the QV Research Web site. All personally identifying information provided to QV Research and its affiliates through the QV Research Web site is provided on a strictly voluntary basis by visitors. QV Research will never sell, release, or give any visitors' information to any unaffiliated third party without first notifying that visitor and receiving explicit permission and approval. Upon request, QV Research will remove any identifying or personal information from its systems.

If and when personally identifiable information is retained, QV Research will use commercially reasonable efforts to keep an accurate record of any information submitted by any visitor to the QV Research Web site. QV Research is not responsible for verifying the continued accuracy of this information. Unfortunately, due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. Children's Privacy Protection

QV Research understands the importance of protecting children's privacy in the interactive online world. QV Research' site covered by this privacy policy is not designed for or intentionally targeted at children 13 years of age or younger. It is not QV Research' policy to intentionally collect or maintain information about anyone under the age of 13. We ask that children under the age of 13, and that minors under the age of 18 who reside in any European Union country, do not submit any personal information to us.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

This information is subject to change. QV Research reserves the right to modify or amend this privacy statement at any time and for any reason. Nothing contained herein is intended to create a contract or agreement between QV Research and any user visiting the Web site or provide identifying information of any kind.
