Training Program Evaluation
Investment in training and development company wide can easily run into millions of dollars. How can an organization make sure that skills are being transferred, that training is performing as promised, and that in the final analysis a true return on investment is being created? Effective Evaluation of training programs requires more than just ‘smiley sheets’ at the end of a course or program. Participants must indeed be able to demonstrate competence and apply the skill to production for the organization to receive an ultimate benefit. Quality Values specializes in customized training evaluation and assessment and provides a number of services for our clients including: Stage OneCustom designed OMR forms are prepared by participants at the close of the training program and immediately scanned into a statistical reporting system to baseline the strengths and weaknesses of the training program. These assessments include a core set of training program indicators (which can be measured longitudinally across all training being provided) and specific content questions for each separate program. Stage TwoOMR (scannable) form or Web-based follow up evaluations are administered over time hosted at the Quality Values Server or at your company website. These follow up evaluations are given at strategic intervals to gauge training retention and return on investment, as well as individual assistance with job performance. Reports are generated which define overall benefits, cumulative insights and opportunities to strengthen the training programs. Stage ThreeCustomized approaches are delivered to re-test and track training retention over time, supplemented with other population demographics and student satisfaction for further insight into the special needs of the employee population. |
